Specific Range Rules

  • NO armor piercing or steel core ammunition to be used on steel plate targets. Any person causing damage by inappropriate behavior on the ranges or property will be charged and may be forced to forfeit their membership.
  • Only shoot at paper or steel targets designated by Tac Pro Shooting Center.
  • Before leaving the range, all paper targetry and trash must be disposed of in trash cans provided and all ammunition brass/empty cases must be picked up and put into buckets provided, unless patrons wish to keep their own brass/empty cases. Please leave the ranges tidy.
  • Anyone found consuming alcohol or drugs or in the opinion of the range officer is under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the property immediately and/or relinquish their membership or barred.
  • The range officers' decidions are final - no ungentlemanly conduct.
  • No toy/imitation guns allowed on Tac Pro porperty.
  • Due to possible fire hazards, patrons wishing to use potential incendiary devices (including black powder firearms, tracer ammunition, flash bangs, etc.) must have prior permission from Tac Pro Shooting Center range officers before use on that day.
  • Minimum safety distance to steel targets is 15 yards.
  • On sporting clays/skeet ranges, no bird shot larger than number 4 is permitted.
  • Due to potential fire hazards, smoking is only permitted is designated areas.
  • All vehicles and pedestrians must stay on main dirt roads. Tac Pro Shooting Center property is private property and will not tolerate trespassers.
  • Tac Pro Shooting Center is not responsible or liable for any loss, accidents or damage to any person or property whilst on Tac Pro Shooting Center property.

50 cal shooters are welcome, but please observe the following rules

  • Do not shoot with armor-piercing rounds at steel targets
  • Do not shoot at the steel plates under 500 yards (it damages them too much)
  • Tracer is okay as long as you check with the range officer on that day that it will not be a fire hazard.
  • Incendiary ammo is okay as long as you check with the range officer on that day and you do not shoot at steel targets as it tends to be armor piercing ammo.
